Active Duty’s stand on bareback

Dink of Active Duty recently joined the conversation on the thread at JUB Forums about his porn site and his models.

He shared his two cents on the issue of bareback "I see so many sites starting to do bareback now that swore they never would and even admonished me for it when I used to shoot only bareback. I was considered the black sheep among many sites who proudly patted themselves on the back for only shooting safe sex videos.

Now, with the economy in the can and the membership site business model taking a nose dive, giving way to piracy and tube sites, suddenly they don't seem to have a problem with it. It's a measure of desperation in my opinion to keep their revenues up. Think about it, why else would they do it?

In the end, I feel good about my choice to cease doing it and I knew when I stopped I would take a hit in revenues but it was about more than that for me. I made my choice based upon what I felt was the right thing to do, not what I thought meant the most in revenues. I'm not saying I will never do it again, I have, but it will never be the "norm" on AD to the extent that it was in the past."

For the record, Active Duty released a bareback scene last May and another one last July.

QUESTION OF THE WEEK Who do you think Dink was referring to when he said "sites who proudly patted themselves on the back for shooting safe sex videos" and now doing bareback scenes?
