  1. Don’t see what’s gained by posting the info. Now if the person is arrested for gay bashing and/or assault that’s different. Outside of that, not sure the info is required. Unless people want to feel superior to porn performers.

  2. If they don’t want their mugshot posted, then they shouldn’t get arrested. Ryan Rose is an asshole anyway. HE posted his own mugshot.

  3. The sword and I’m sure zach sires website will do it. It’s public information and the websites where these turn up get these mugshots from the arresting agencies themselves, which have their own website. A pornstar is posting every little detail about their lives either on twitter, tumblr or Facebook but scream privacy about a public photograph available to anyone?

  4. If you don’t want your mugshots to be seen, then stop giving people mugshots to show! How about you quit being a dumb-ass criminal?

  5. Love the site and I’m not big on censorship but it’s super disingenuous when you post non-porn/personal/model photos of porn stars and then say “please don’t mention [the star’s] real name” because obviously readers can do a google image search and find their name and personal info the same way you did. If you’re going to be a cutthroat asshole journalist that exposes and exploits people’s personal lives and vulnerabilities just go all the way and stop half-stepping. Sure people can connect the dots on their own but just know that they’re connecting dots that you provide. If you can live with that go for it. TMZ, for example, doesn’t give a fuck. Radar, Smoking Gun, none of those sites do and they profit from that callousness. It’s legal and it’s good business. On some level porn guys need to get over this idea that they can have a porn identity and a personal identity. That era is LONG gone. If they’re ashamed or don’t want people finding out they shouldn’t do porn.

  6. Why would you not, Denz? C’mon, porn stars cannot expect that every other porn consumer is a useful idiot.

  7. It’s no different than posting their “modeling” shots. Really, I want to know if that cute guy on Corbin F’s site was arrested for _____ (fill in the blank).

  8. STILL cant find Gerin/Jackson Taylors mugshot with information .. once a porn star has been arrested all bets are off ..

  9. Post away Denz, go for it. It’s part of porn news and if they don’t want their mugshots shown around the web, it’s very simple…..don’t do the stupid shit that gets you arrested!

  10. Censorship is the government forcing you – by law or comparable – not to release information. PLZ don’t use a word (or concept) you don’t understand, it just demeans the conversations.

  11. Agree; it’s just like watching two “housewives” throw crap each at each other over some stupid perceived insult — so the folks watching it can somehow feel superior.

  12. There were probably well more than 1000 people arrested today. We’re not seeing these thousands upon thousands of mug shots on Facebook, Reddit, Buzz Feed or elsewhere. Given how much porn is available, we’re talking about the fact that any given there’s fresh content featuring probably a good 350-400 different performers. In a given month, there’s easily a 1000 different performers, even with the ones that you see EVERYWHERE (like Tommy Defendi, Colby Keller, Trenton Ducati, etc. – no opinion being expressed on any of them other than they are prolific).
Or some 10,000 in a year, at the very minimum. And that’s being conservative. We probably get at most 2-3 mug shots a month, if that. I doubt it’s more than two dozen in one year. Or not even ONE PERCENT of performers.
So why are YOU (and Estelle, Russe, Dean, Gnormie) really learning by seeing these mugshots? Exactly HOW do you personally benefit? How does the porn buying (or porn scamming) public actually get helped?

  13. 1000s of people got arrested today.
It doesn’t even make it onto any NEWs blogs or post, unless we’re talking someone like Mel Gibson – and in that case, not only was he drunk driving, but he was waving around a gun, and making a lot of anti-semitic remarks – thus it got reprinted and commented on all over the place.
On the other hand, Pee Wee Herman getting arrested for jerking off in a movie theater (something any number of gay porn fans commonly did before the advent of broadband) OR say Hugh Grant getting arrested for hiring a hooker – how is that REALLY news?
    It’s infotainment.
If the guy running this just wants this to be a gay porn gossip blog, well that’s one option. But since he also wants to interview the porn performers who will let him, and wants to follow them on Twitter and get them to answer his questions, etc., it also looks like he wants to cover more than just silly drivel, rumor, innuendo and blather.
Yeah, the SC guy who was accused of murder, or anything like that, those kinds of things are fair game.

  14. There are likely hundreds upon hundred of performers appearing in porn scenes regularly. Any number of them just do solos (personally I don’t consider THEM porn but most of you here do), and NEVER do anything else. Whatever write up the studios present about them OR have them say in their solos (I’m straight, I love my girlfriend, I’m a football jock, etc.) is almost in every instance made up and fantasy.
So there’s no ACTUAL PERSONAL REVELATION. And MOST of these guys, and even people who have appeared in a great deal of porn, do NOT have Twitter accounts. If they DID (a perfect example are all the personal Twitter accounts for the Next Door Guys or to go look at those blogs – like Samuel O’Toole), and you can easily see that these are studio PR hack run.
Probably less than 10% of the guys who appear in porn are on Twitter or Facebook or elsewhere. And when they are on here, it’s largely for economics; they want to push their scenes (so they get downloaded, get interest and get hired again), or they want to be hired to dance/strip somewhere, OR they are escorting.
Arresting agencies don’t have their “websites” – there is no LAPD “mugshotsRus” or NYC police version of that. Those get pulled by someone and re-posted. It’s as “public” a photograph “available” to anyone as the photo of you on your passport or driver’s license is PUBLIC or AVAILABLE.

  15. What will gay porn studios do if you don’t remove a mugshot of one of their models? I can’t imagine Corbin Fisher would be very happy if you don’t delete that post about model X being arrested for possession of drugs. The consequence probably will be that you aren’t allowed to use CF’s preview pics for some months. So I say: don’t post mugshots.

  16. I was just going to remark on this. He didn’t say (@ least in the article on QMN) what the transgression was)

  17. Uh yeah they do. Many of the mugshots posted come from Florida which has numerous counties with a very public docket and mugshot lookup websites. As does counties in Oklahoma Arizona and Texas. Most people lookup websites that charge a fee get their records from state and county websites that have the information for free.
If you are fucking on film over and over again for commercial purposes its very hard to scream privacy about a readuly available mugshot

  18. Totally agree. Posting someone’s mugshot for drunk in public, possession of a joint, DUI, shoplifting, seems pretty tabloid. Anyone arrested for murder, assault, fraud, etc I say post it.

  19. These porn performers work in the public, and want the public to like them and purchase their product. You can’t have it both ways, people’s mugshots are public and it happens to “non public” people as well, lots of people get exposed you just don’t hear about it. I don’t understand the point of all those calculations you are doing, what difference does it make?
Some people want to see the mugshots and find it interesting. If it was just about the scene then, there shouldn’t be any behind the scenes, no twitter, no porn blogs, people aren’t “helped” by these things either.

  20. Why are you making things up? Of course the mugshots are readily available and public. How do you think celebrity mugshots are put on the news? Don’t you think they would sue the news stations etc?

  21. Agree with above sentiment. It makes for good gossip material. Other than that, it doesn’t really serve much purpose.

  22. A couple of things. A) to those who think this isn’t censorship, it is. It’s called “self censorship” B) to those who think it isn’t news. It is, no matter how irrelevant it may be to you, or how unimportant it is, whether or not it affects you. Much of the mainstream news I read or watch is not pertinent to me nor does it affect me. But it’s still news nonetheless. C) This is a porn blog about men in gay porn. If a gay porn model get’s arrested, married, retires, etc. it’s worth posting here.(ok, that’s 3 things, so sue me! LOL)

  23. Those thousands of people aren’t in porn nor are they public figures either. If Denz was posting a mug shot of some random person (which is also done with mugshots that stand out as unusual) you might have a point. There are not 10000 people in porn, the porn community is a small community. 350-400 different performers? You might want to adjust those numbers big time.
Posting a famous or a person that has notoriety’s mugshot has no effect on your life or mine, but that isn’t the point.
Are you outraged by the Face of Meth campaign that the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office has had for a number of years? None of those people are famous or notable, but the campaign has been viewed by tens of millions of people, has been tweeted and shared on Facebook millions of times and has been considered very effective. Are you angry that the AP has picked up on the story about the guy high on meth who was jerking off at a bar? Do those stores affect your life? Are you complaining that the public doesn’t need to know?
You are having sex on film for eternity and it will be viewed by possibly millions of people, whether on a paysite, a torrent, a tubesite, a blog, etc… You signed a contract knowing this and knowing that you will no longer be considered a private citizen by many (maybe most) people. If I use my image for commercial purposes whether it’s porn or mainstream entertainment, my past or in some of these guys cases, present, is now fair game.

  24. I find it strange that most seem to advocate posting, yet the vote tallies so far show most don’t want the info posted. I vocal minority versus a silent majority. In any regard, I vote that you don’t post the info.
However if you ever want to expose the dark under belly of porn, the expose studios and directors, not the models. Oh, wait studios have attorneys , we’ll I guess that leaves just the poor individual to target.
Denz, take the high road , if possible, on this.
    Thanks!

  25. It is a matter of public record. You are doing nothing wrong but as ever it is your choice.

  26. Because this is a porn blog–part info, part gossip, part entertainment. It’s a place for dishing dirt. And mugshots are public info anyways. If you’ve ever had one taken, any member of the public can look at it.

  27. I agree with you and James. We seem to be in a tiny minority. The vote is overwhelmingly in favor of continued postings.

  28. I think James nailed it when he asked what is gained by the postings, “Unless people want to feel superior to the porn performers”. There are several people who regularly post on this site who both enjoy beating off to the porn actors performances and looking down on them because they perform in porn.
