  1. I don’t think they will decrease this just highlights the fact that there still is a window for transmission so those actors who are HIV- and doing bareback would be smart to go on PrEP like many of the gay actors like Joseph Rough, Cam Christou, and Max Cameron have done.
Would be interesting to know what studio it is and who was the actor who transmitted it. Does he escort and not use condoms with clients, does he shoot drugs, is he a whore who fucks and gets fucked anonymously. Several studios that are bareback have shot scenes in NV with the exception of TIM I don’t believe they have shot anything in NV.

  2. Anyone with common sense uses condoms in their own lives and encourages the gay porn models to do likewise. Those people who go on the gay porn blogs and keep calling for more BB sex are just plain selfish. They don’t have any respect for the models they are beating off to.

  3. I just read an article posted on straightupgayporn and it appears that the Studio concerned were not adhering to the level of testing required by the Adult industry .

  4. However this window period stuff confuses me . Especially with Studios like Sean Cody who apparently go way beyond the standards. to ensure safety – would be interesting to see how they do it ?

  5. Nope. There’ll be just as much and probably more bareback porn in 2015. The market demands it and that will continue.
I too think it’s a great idea for bareback models to get on PrEP.

  6. I can’t imagine it being Corbinfisher but Nevada is their home base now. There are some others there so it could be a toss up. Bareback unfortunately is going nowhere for now, but I do say that if someone knows they are positive and doesn’t let their screen partner know should be banned from the industry immediately with no exception. Until they come up with a 100% protective drug against HIV the risk is not worth the money. But then again their are those that don’t value life that much either.

  7. “FREEDOM of SPEECH” — “MY ASS”!!,…Lots of YAK YAK YAK by the Media,..but NO mentioning of the Studio. WTF??..is the secret.?? If it’s CF,…so say it. Why mention NEVADA,..then say it involves a gay production and studio,…and then STOP there. Seems like “HALF-ASS” reporting to me.
When MEN.com had a similar issue,..the Media was quick to shine the spot-light. I bet if it involved a Studio in California (say-SC in San Diego) ,..gosh it would be a Headliner.

  8. I thought the same thing man! Where is the rest of the story??? But of course they had to mention that it was a GAY studio! What a load of crap!

  9. I wonder why CF has not updated their website with new model? They used to do it every Tuesday but has not happened since 2 weeks ago.

  10. Everywhere else but here, it mentions two male actors in model. They don’t mention the word “gay”.

  11. Here’s how they do it: they do not hire escorts or whores and they make sure everybody understands that honesty about their sex lives is of the utmost importance.

  12. I’m one of those who supports BB in gay videos. I totally respect the choice of the models. You don’t. These people are grown ups. Treat them that way.

  13. One would need a doctorate degree in Astrology to determine what’s happening @ CF. They are the most UNPREDICTABLE, UNRELIABLE, INCONSISTENT…and definitely the most OBNOXIOUS when it comes to Customer Service. Why have a “CONTACT US” button,..but receive NO RESPONSE on any submitted inquiries.?? Sounds really “F-UP” to me. 🙁 🙁
CF-accepted my Holiday Combo Annual subscription $$$ ,..and posted a WEEKLY Video Schedule which enticed me to join. …. since it indicated CF was going to provide a DAILY updating.
ACM – New Content (Sunday); ACM-solo/BJ (Monday); CFS-Repost (Tuesday); ACS-Str8 Scene (Wednesday); ACM – New Content (Thursday); CFS-Repost (Friday); ACS-Trio BTT (Saturday)
Total – “BUTT SHIT”!!! …. To Date:…they have already missed TWO — ACS Saturday updates with NO explanation.
They’ve done this before,..when they had me join GuysGoneBi,…and then pulled the plug after 18 days into my membership….and then offered me ACS for the balance.
Thank GOODNESS,..I downloaded all of the previous “Exclusive” contents,..or I would have come out a LOSER.
I love the MODELS @ CF,..However,..their Studio Managing, and Customer Service is the near the WORST on any rating.
Corbin should sit with Bryan Ockert @ Chaosmen to learn more about Customer Relations and keeping a promise.

  14. Well that didn’t take long for the shoe to drop did it. I knew when I read the initial press accounts there was more to the story… thanks Denz for posting. The AHF lost 100% credibility with me when they labeled Truvada a party drug. If they were really concerned about decreasing the incidence of infection they would be encouraging both condoms and Truvada… and for people who didn’t want to do both, encourage they use at least one. This isn’t CF, SC, Chaos or any of the other well known, reputable studios. If you click on the link you’ll see whoever they were, they weren’t using well known established protocol… and they were testing with ELISA for goodness sake. So once again, the AHF and their media cronies leave out important pertinent facts to bolster their homophobic narrative – and one wonders why the FDA still places ridiculous restrictions on blood donations from gay men?

  15. YOU ARE INCORRECT….Look at the DATES!! Jackson’s ACM solo was on December 15th…and his ACS “Triple Load” is dated Dec 24th.
“If YOU wish to be critical”!!!!

  16. Oh, and to answer the question… no BB won’t decrease in 2015. The bad apples will continue to exist (as they do in every industry), and life will go on. I wish all the breathless media hyperbole would stop, but with the pitiful state of our media, probably ain’t gonna happen. Now waiting on the next faux crisis that everyone can get outraged about.

  17. Commonsense is not common when it comes to decisions in the midst of sexual activity. If it were there would be no continuing problems with HIV infection. What there is today is more options and a better understanding of risk. There is risk associated with most everything, particularly the decision to become a porn model.

  18. Sean Cody wasn’t the first of the big gay porn studios that went bareback. It was BelAmi who started to release bb scenes in early 2011 on a regular basis (scenes were filmed quite some time before their release date). The reason why BA went bb? I think it was probably a reaction to the success of the bb films that Vlado Iresch shot for Eurocreme. Don’t know if SC going bb had anything to do with BA’s condomfree move.

BB gay porn: what the market wants, the market gets. The fight for gay condom porn was lost when the big 3 (Sean Cody, Corbin Fisher and BelAmi) went bareback.

  19. Dear Andrew,
I think (correct me if I’m wrong about this)you are a member of at least 2 studios that produce bareback gay porn (BelAmi and Sean Cody [or was it Corbin Fisher?]). Although these studios have strict testing policies they DO spread the message that bb gay sex is better than safe sex. Being a member of these studios enables them to continue to spread this message. Some people would say that you are part of the problem.
    Kind regards,
    Count Voronovich

  20. BB porn is here to stay. It is what the discretionary porn dollar wants. The condom message is not working for various reasons. There is a whole generation coming through that believes they are invincible and HIV is an old man’s problem and an easily treatable disease.
Porn models must take responsibility for their health and be very diligent in their risk assessment of studios where to accept roles in scenes as well as studios providing strict assessment procedures. It is not just a way to make a quick buck for performers. Sometimes you have to be a little smarter than chasing a big buck.

  21. I do subscribe to Studios that do BB sex. I have through frequent E Mails and posts on porn blogs encouraged them to do condom sex. That’s a compromise that I have to live with. Guys who actively encourage them to do BB sex have to live with their actions.

  22. I have to live with, but I don’t have to respect the bad choices that other people make. I have a close friend who smokes cigarettes. He is an adult. I don’t respect that choice he has made and often try to nudge him in the direction of making a better choice. I certainly never encourage him to smoke.

  23. Are you neutral on the subject of BB vs. Condom gay porn or do you prefer that the Studios do one or the other?

  24. Samtheham: The thing about that argument is that the models’ choices don’t just affect them. If they did, we’d have less of a problem with it. But the choices those models make to not use condoms on screen also affects their viewers and fans, sending the message that unsafe sex is somehow better. And that’s what leads to still-rising HIV rates. The models have a responsibility to provide a good example, not just do whatever they want.

  25. Honestly, I have very little respect or time for people who say:”Oh how terrible BB, condom is the only way”.
That is absolute rubbish. The AIDS scare is about 15 years behind now, and with advance testing + PreP, Truvada est makes the whole argument of condoms vs. BB completely futile.
The only thing I do agree here, is that every model must go through the triple test and all results must be transparent to all models as well as the studio.
(That said, in case of acknowledged HIV+ models, testing would be negligible.)
I applaud Sean Cody, Corbin Fisher & Lucas Ent.(the 3 biggest BB studios in USA) that they have taken the step forward; Some of their current product looks a hell of a lot better than it used to be prior 2011.
The only reason I see the other studios – Falcon, Men est – not going BB is to avoid extra cost of testing & possible headache. There is no ideology behind their practice, I can assure. It’s only about money. It always was.
Not sure how much more BB we will see in 2015, but I hope to see more natural looking, free from condoms scenes in the next year.

  26. From my discussions with people in the industry, my understanding is this: Bareback = cheaper and quicker to produce and shoot. Just think about it….and if I have to explain it further, then your really just a porn fan versus someone who actually cares about the industry and working productions and the business of porn.
Also: it is truly about choice. As some say, you don’t have to respect them, accept them, or even watch them (I’m not one to say that as a consumer one equals an “enabler in death and HIV”), but you cannot deny people their choice and decision making ability, no matter how unethical, immoral, or ill advised you think their decisions or actions or consequences of those actions or even the perceived interpretation of such actions and consequences by others who may or may not act in deference to or as the result of the actions of said porn performers.

  27. Remember Chip? The most approachable PR dude ever at CF. They need him back SOOOOO bad. Wouldn’t be surprised that they actually fired him.

  28. You’re not selfish. There is absolutely nothing wrong with BB – you just have to be smart about it, and the protocols now exist for it to be done safely.
Condoms were a great tool back in the day… and for that matter they still are – but progress continues and they aren’t the only preventative method.
Remember, once condoms were used for birth control, then came the pill. That doesn’t mean condoms don’t have a continued role to play… some people choose to use both a condom and the pill for birth control, some people use only one.

  29. They will just stop using gay guys all together and use more straight guys -safest sex there is gay4fuckingpay.

  30. It’s not selfish. What’s selfish is for a person to say they should do away with condoms in porn or that there shouldn’t be any condomless scenes at all. I can watch both as long as one or both of the models I’m watching are attractive and get the job done.

  31. I hear what you are saying, but I don’t really understand how a top with a condom on makes the scene any less hot. Most of the time when I am watching two guys that I find sexually attractive getting it on, I rarely even notice the presence or absence of that little piece of latex. I speak out, occasionally, in favor of condoms, because I believe that it is a safer way to go. Actually, I think rigorous testing, condoms and Truvada is the safest way to go.

  32. And condoms break. The only foolproof way to avoid STI is to avoid sex or be monogamous. And that is a ridiculous proposition for this industry.

  33. It wasn’t Denz’s report, he copied a report from Xbiz News – where it is clearly stated “Gay Porn Shoots” Check your facts before you post snarky comments!

  34. If you look at the number of gay guys that got infected with HIV the last couple of years in the USA you start to wonder if many gay guys can only think with their dick. It makes the gay community look stupid and selfish. I feel a political and social backlash is in the making.

Prep/Truvada is seen by many as a wonder drug but we have no idea how it will affect guys who take it in the long run. Maybe they will be bed ridden when they’re in their fourties and dead when they turn 50.

Lucas Entertainment is not a big company. It has only around 500 members (according to someone who worked at their office) compared to 10000+ for Sean Cody and Corbin Fisher. Since ML was left by his sugar daddy he has no money. Contrary to what ML says he does not test his models and has no scrupules of pairing HIV- with HIV+ guys. Some of his models do not get paid until they do their next scene. Totally appaling behaviour and for any gay guy with a brain enough reason to NOT watch any scenes from Lucas Entertainment. If you look at the number of gay guys that got infected with HIV the last couple of years in the USA you start to wonder if many gay guys can only think with their dick. 35. @Adrian Sanderson: “The Aids scare is about 15 years behind now” Tell that to the thousands of people in the USA who were infected with HIV in 2014.

  36. Will bareback scenes decrease in 2015? No. It has been business as usual since the industry was given the okay to continue production back in October 2014. This was old news until a suspiciously edited “report” was given “new” legs. Irresponsible reporting.
    While we’re at it…..
Will condom scenes increase in 2015? No. I’m going to assume that condom porn producers have come to terms with whatever they need to in this current market. However, in the years to come, the market (not social politics) will tell if the pendulum swings back toward condoms or further in the direction of bareback. If the current market for straight porn is any indication, well…

  37. Bareback isn’t going anywhere. Some sites seem to have exploded in popularity since they went all BB, and even I must admit that I tend to pay more attention raw sites than something like Randy Blue, which despite have hot dudes tends to feel kind of…tame.
Soooooo, I think gay porn will continue to have a lot of bareback just like straight porn pretty much always has.

  38. One of the problems with the current resurgence in HIV infections is the younger generation and their over-confidence in themselves. There is always a sense of invincibility in young people, but it is dangerous in this matter. They did not live through the beginning of the AIDS epidemic and consider it to be a treatable disease, just like any other STI. To a much greater extent it is, but only when treated properly. And in the current youth-obsessed culture, AIDS ia an “old man’s” disease. BTW, AIDS was discovered in the early 1980s, so it has been 30 years and no cure is available.
