According to Tim Wood, the cause of death was a hiking accident.
This was the last post of Colton on X.
And the last post I had of him was about his relationship with Matthew Rush.
But Colton deleted his own post about Matthew.

I read the news earlier this evening and it broke my heart. He was one of the best gay porn stars I’ve ever seen and I followed him when he left porn and started doing music and he made some good songs. I was very happy to see Colton/Glenn get with Greg/Matthew and they seem so happy together & hearing this news makes me hurt for Greg so much more. This is heart wrenching. I met Glen way back in 2004 the day of his documentary screening. I was a huge fan, and he was in the Rainbows and Triangles gift shop. The man was not only the most handsome daddy I’d ever seen, but he was incredibly sweet. I was so enamored, I could barely form words. I probably looked like an idiot. We exchanged hello’s and as I was walking out, he caught up to me and asked if I wanted to go to the screening of Naked Fame that evening. When I arrived at the theater, he excused himself from his friends and came right up to me and gave me a big kiss on the cheek. He asked me to meet him at Splash that evening where he was going to perform his music. I was planning to go, but decided against it because I was a starting a new job the next day. Boy I regret that decision. I haven’t thought about this in years. Fuck, this so sad. RIP.
