The most talked about in gay porn this week was the departure of Austin Wilde, who was under contract till 2013, from Next Door Studios. After that, his boyfriend Anthony Romero quit NDS.
The main reason Austin quit was his refusal to work with guys, for an orgy scene, that won’t touch him. I’m GUESSING the scene included James Huntsman, Tyler Torro, Trystan Bull and/or Cody Cummings.
Since Next Door Studios has not given an official statement, I will try to argue on their defense 🙂
It was his job and he was under contract.
Our business model are for gay fans who loves straight guys who does gay porn with lots of limitations. We are not Lucas Entertainment who hires gay men that enjoys gay sex or Channel 1 Releasing that identifies all their porn stars as gay men.
It was easy for us to let him go since he was not gay for pay did not bring in the dollars. Look at gay for pay Brody Wilder, he had a breach of contract when a scene of him at Chaos Men was released. But, he was not let go.
