Honestly, the big homophobia doesn’t just come from outside of gay porn or the industry. Of course, the negative turnaround in politics (especially in such a strong, supposedly free country like the USA), the fanatic religious fundi Christians all over the world or more and more the queer/fluid/pan or “what knows me” agenda within the LGBT community, who are becoming more and more homophobic towards gays, while constantly accusing themselves of not being tolerant enough. We fight and yes we all fight each other. I mean, currently there are so many performers who are constantly dirfarming gays themselves or injecting poison on social networks or on their own channels (podcasts, OV, JFF or others….), allying themselves with other performers or with people who do the same are homophobic and then blaspheme against their own fans or gays, just because they don’t agree that these performers continue to call themselves gay but then fuck cunts or everything in the industry (so-called crossover performers, really terrible people) and continue shooting against gays . Current, and I keep emphasizing it with Derek Kage and his Clan. A terrible human behavier. Just because he doesn’t want to admit that he’s bi or that he likes women and makes a joke out of it and then makes fun of gay or gay culture along with other performers and thinks he has to hold a mirror up to gays because we don’t want pussies. The studios are homophobic! Mindgeek’s agenda or the owners of Gayhoopla. The young actors don’t dare to openly show themselves as gay or to be proud of it. No, today you just have to be bi/queer/pan or fluid and also like pussy to survive in this world of porn. Then what about gay? Nobody is interested in the fact that the current development is not only taking place from outside but above all from within the gay community and gay porn. In the end it’s always just people like me or others who say it like it is and then get it in their face again and again. Especially from the “oh so great queer/bi/fluid/straight agenda” and people out there…….
TshirI didn’t see any photoshopped porn stills. Where were they I want to see this porn dedication for those r killed by hate in this country and the world. Were they as good as this reminder of the shit still going on thanks mostly to the dumb ass republicans and religious leaders that like to tell their followers about how we are so evil and yet it’s the priests and youth counselors and leaders of the anti abortion groups that keep getting arrested for sex with children. Funny that I have not seen one drag queen arrested for grooming children. When Matthew Shepard was found I was going through the roughest bout of manic depression in my life. I was in the waiting room of my therapists office when it came on the tv and I hit the lowest low in my life and by the time my session was over my therapist called my husband and told him to come pick me up and take me to the local hospital’s psych ward for a 72 hour suicide watch. I guess I scared him that much. I told him I would be ok because as I had told him before Patrick was the only thing keeping me alive in this world of hate that we lived in then. Now that he is dead after 27 years together I am so alone and afraid of what is yet to come without him there to hold my hand and tell me we would be okay. I appreciated the gesture Belami put forth to remind all of us what is still out there waiting for us and including Matthew Shepard in their dedication. It meant a lot to me that he is gone but not forgotten by even the people of Prague of all places. It may not be that “effective” but it is something and maybe it will cause some of us to get off our fat lazy asses and march again to protest the way we are treated and to dig deep and donate to causes like the Human Rights Campaign Fund and the ACLU to keep enough lawyers on the ground fighting all of these stupid bills at the local, state and federal level to try to keep us safe from those hateful people behind these new restrictions on our lives and freedoms. May we all feel lucky that the models were not wearing our names on their tshirts. Keep your fingers crossed that your loved one and friends and you are not on one of these tshirts by this time next year.
I was going to make a negative comment but just read that in Prague where they where they are partly based they are more accepting of gay rights so yeah. However unlike the other two side of the business in Hungary and Slovakia which are more conservative and had gone backwards on gay rights so this will have zero effect.
Snark all you like but George Duroy has been for decades a tireless supporter financing many LGBT charities in the Czech Republic and elsewhere in Europe. Don’t see any other USA based gay porn companies doing that. Bravo Bel Ami.
Ok but to be fair he had made enough money out of the Gay Community who have always supported his once great company. But constantly producing mediocre porn by numbers scenes for the last few years and doing well out of it!
